From our first contact right through to the final handover, our experience with the team was exceptional.
Our house was built in the 1970s and while we’d done little bits and pieces over seven years to make it comfortable, the cavity block walls and old windows meant we had consistent issues with condensation and damp.
With small children in the house, we considered moving altogether, but our love of the area, local community and indeed the house itself meant we opted for a deep retrofit and extension.
Renova’s business model was a perfect fit for us: the phased process during which all decisions are thought through and made, the meticulous project management, the detailed and regular budget updates, the top class engineering, architectural and interiors expertise.
People scoffed when we told them our move-in date, “Ah yeah, ‘on schedule’? They all say that!” but the project came in on time and on budget. We now have a bright, spacious, energy-efficient house and we are so, so proud of it.

Project details
Our clients on this job had young kids and a gorgeous family home before we were engaged. They had great taste and the décor and furnishings were very nice; it was a lovely family home. But it was cold like all older homes, and it was a bit small, especially considering that they needed to work from home occasionally. We were charged with modernising and reimaging their home, for them and with them.
Our clients were determined that the finished house would meet their practical needs which is expressed in the inclusion of plenty of storage. Everything was considered so that the completed house contained a space for everything, and the facility to work from home. Naturally the overall project budget was fixed so there were plenty of discussions about the pros and cons of various specification items and finishes to ensure they made the wisest decisions and wouldn’t have regrets.
The original house was full of our clients personality, so too is the finished home, especially with their furniture and belongings reinstalled.
This job was completed in a reasonably quick overall timeframe, and on budget. the overall project duration from first engagement to the handover was 15 months.
