FITTINGS AND FINSIHES:Kitchen and utility room units including appliances, Home office, Bathroom fitouts, Wardrobes, Built in storage, Internal doors, Sliding partitions, Skirtings & architraves, Timber flooring, Tiling, Carpet, Light fittings, Eaves, Gutters & downpipes, Painting and decorating.
STAGES 1 – 5:14 months

Project details

Our clients on this project had lived in this house for many years. They had renovated and extended in the past, but without any emphasis on retrofit for comfort, which was normal in the past. It was 20 years since the last significant renovation, so it was time to renovate again. And, this time around retrofitting for comfort and energy efficiency formed part of the brief in addition to layout changes and fittings and finishes.

We were able to provide an accurate budget estimate after the first client meeting, which we did. Once there was agreement about the budget we then began to prepare design proposals. We settled on the optimum plan for the house 7 months after our first meeting, and signed a contract. The project start date was set for 7 months time which gave us more than enough time to prepare drawings and select all fittings and finishes which we did over a series of workshops at RENOVA.

The project started and finished on the agreed dates and there were no budget surprises. We helped with the selection of furniture and fabrics, hence the furnished after photos.

The finished BER rating is A2.
