Project details

Our client on this project was an architect, so we were pleasantly surprised that they engaged us to extend and renovate their new home. This was their first home and they had just recently purchased it. As the photos show the house wasn’t livelable, so there was an understandable urgency to get this renovation completed.

The brief for this project was to extend and modernise, similar to two previous renovations that we had carried out on this house type.

Our Stage 2: Design took just 1 month to complete thanks to our client having a very clear brief and understanding of what they wanted to achieve. Contract were signed and the planning application followed immediatly afterwards.

Stages 4 and 5 were carried out while the planning application with with the planners. Works began on site as soon as planning permission was granted, and took 7 months to complete, including the rear paving and all decoration.

The completed house is equivelent to a new home, but with the charm of an older home. The final BER is A3.
