Project details
Like so many of our client, the owners of this house had bought the house in recent times. It was habitable, albeit cold, so they moved in with the intention of renovating the house as soon as possible. They were referred to RENOVA by friends for whom we had completed a renovation earlier that year. The brief was to modernise the house for comfort and energy efficiency, and to redesign the layout and extend to suit their needs.
We first met in a December to discuss and agree the brief and project budget. We quickly proceed to design and settled on a design and project budget in time for contract signing just 2 months later, in February.
Once the contract was signed, we agreed a start date and arranged workshops. All fittings and finishes were selected before the works started on site and a set of construction drawings prepared. Construction commenced in September and finished 26 weeks later, on time.
This finished house has a BER A2 rating.
