We engaged RENOVA to renovate our new home in late 2023, and almost exactly one year later we moved in after a very enjoyable renovation process. From the very first engagement we felt that everything was under control. The RENOVA process is clearly mapped out from day 1 and delivers a completely seemless solution. Everybody on the team is on the same wavelength through the process from those in the design office to the site team. Because RENOVA took care of everything the experience was entirely hassle-free and efficient. The quality of workmanship is second to none and the house was ready to move into the day that it was handed over. We are very satisfied with RENOVA and highly recommend them to anyone who needs to renovate a house.

Project details

The clients on this renovation were old friends of RENOVA. After many years in the market for a family home, they had recently purchased this excellent family home. They had moved in because the house was perfectely liveable, but their intention had always been to modernise the house and alter it’s layout to perfectly suit their needs.

This project followed the normal process beginning with a budget discussion to confirm the brief. Once there was an understanding of the costs and time required to meet the brief, we moved to design. The clients were very clear on their requirements so the layout design stage was efficient and quite short.

Contracts were signed, a start date and project duration were confirmed. In the period post-contract signing and pre-construction we had our design workshops at RENOVA and prepared our construction drawings. All fittings and finishes were selected in this time which took circa 12 weeks.

An unusual aspect of this renovation were the extensive external works included which included a separate office/gym building, an astroturf pitch, patios, planters, kerbing, tarmacadam and planting which gives the finished house an all the more complete appearance at handover.

The owners moved in on the handover day as the house was handed over in walk in condition.
