Project details
Our clients on this projected needed to modernise and extend their home. The existing building was dated and inefficient. Our brief was to transform the house for modern living which needed to include an open plan kitchen, diner and family space, plus back of house utility, laundry, plant space and pantry. This required an extension to the side and rear of the house.
Modernising the house for comfort and energy efficiency meant a deep retrofit. We insulated the floor, walls and roof, and we installed triple glazed windows with are properly airtight measures. New heating, plumbing, electrics, solar panels, and ventilation system were added.
The internal layout was altered and a full suite of fittings and finishes were added.
