Project Details
Our clients had just bought this period house in Ranelagh. The house had been extended and was in reasonable decorative condition. However, it was cold and there was an issue with damp in the old part of the building.
The brief was to make the house dry and warm. We also had to improve the layout to open up the ground floor for a more modern open plan layout.
Works required a complete strip out of the lower level of the building plus a complete upgrade of the building fabric in those parts. The upper level including the formal front room and entrance hall were largely retained intact. Windows and doors, heating and plumbing and electrical services were upgraded to the whole house, as were the finishes and fittings.
