After twenty years in our nearly fifty year old apartment, we bit the bullet on getting it fully renovated rather than doing upgrades piecemeal.
From the outset we were impressed with the attention to detail and professionalism of the Renova team. The initial design workshops gave us real comfort that Renova is very much customer focused and the team helped us tease out exactly how we wanted our apartment to look like. The budget and project completion date were agreed at the outset.
We were out of the country for the period of the project but we were kept updated with regular videos of progress.
Passing full responsibility for project delivery under design and build can bring risks and can be more costly, but in our circumstances, we can 100% say it was the correct decision which kept stress levels to a minimum.
Our project was delivered on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard.
To John, Sian, Barbara, Paul and Sean and all the team who worked on site, you were all a pleasure to work with and a big thank you for helping us to finalise our vision as to how our apartment should be and then delivering it to us in excess of our expectations.
Project details
Our clients on this project had lived in this lovely apartment development for years. Their home was in lovely, but it had become dated and its insulation was poor by modern standards. They decided that it was time to carry out a complete renovation. After our initial meeting at the house we issued a budget estimate to notify the client of the order of cost involved in a complete renovation. This was in line with their expectation so we progressed to prepare a design proposal with specification and budget. We worked through design and specification options until we arrived at the optimum proposal for our client. We signed contracts and began to prepare for works on site. After a series of workshops we had the information we needed to finalise a set of construction drawings and a specification. Because everything was decided before the works started on site our clients were able to move abroad while we carried out the renovation. The project finished on budget and on time.
