Project details
Our client on this project had acquired this rental property in very poor condition, and with a BER rating of F.
Their ambition was to transform it into a modern rental property that they were proud to own.
The existing layout was of several separate self contained units using a shared bathroom and kitchen. The brief was to transform the space into a 2 bedroom apartment with two bathrooms; and to upgrade the apartment to bring it up to modern standards of comfort and efficiency.
Like all of our renovations we began with a total gutting, right back to bare blocks and timbers to allow us to do our work properly. We erected new internal partitions for an entirely new layout. we upgraded the building with insulation and a new heating system with heat pump. We installed and all new fittings and finishes.
This project was completed on time and within budget. The apartment received a BER A3 rating on completion.
