When we purchased our house we knew it needed a lot of work. It had been left unoccupied for over 2 years and the previous owners were heavy smokers, which basically meant the entire house had to be gutted. When we met John & Alan from RENOVA we were immediately struck by how professional and easy-going they were. They helped us plan our budget and the retrofit itself, and the design team were on hand (at the office or online) whenever we had a suggestion or worry. The whole process was extremely easy, and the professionalism extended to all members of their team, including the guys onsite. The project was completed on schedule without any hiccups and when we came to see the finished job it was like stepping into a brand new house, it was completely unrecognizable from what it had been. PROJECT DETAILS

Our clients had just bought this house knowing that it needed a complete upgrade. Their priority was to ensure that the house was warm and comfortable but the house needed a cosmetic upgrade too. Their requirements were a perfect match to the service RENOVA provides.

We initially specified a full suite of retrofit works, plus fit out and finishes. Just minor changes were made to the initial scope of works for budget reasons.

The existing extension to the rear was remodelled and re-roofed with a roof window added. A porch was also added to the front.

All finishes and fittings were selected over the course of three design meetings at RENOVA.

The finished house is the equivalent of a modern house, but within the shell of an old Dublin corporation house. The job was completed on time and within budget.
